    The HSRCA’s Historic Spring

A lovely collection of historic sports and racing cars descended upon Wakefield Park this past weekend, out to enjoy some classic car tinkering, racing and socialising in the early spring sunshine.
Along with a full suite of races for sports and racing cars built between the ’30s and mid ’80s, the event staged feature races for pre-1930s, ’30s, ’40s and ’50s historic sports and racing cars. These cars are all as unique and interesting as they are beautiful, and were put to tremendous use over the course of a packed weekend of historic action.

PORSCHE 962C LOOSE ON THE STREETS

Japan is a country full of surprises. If you are like me and are always on a car spotting session no matter where you go, your eyes are sure to be kept busy and a sore neck is almost guaranteed. But while Japanese enthusiasts love to use their pride and joys, no matter how exotic, how rare or how tuned they may be, the car in this video is simply on another level. This video is the web version with English subtitles of the DVD that is included in Motor Head Vol. 5, the Japanese car culture magazine I reviewed last week. Hit play and I bet you won’t believe your eyes. As the saying goes, only in Japan…
