Snowareg.

Originally constructed in 2011 for Volkswagen Sweden, the Snowareg is the ultimate winter vehicle as it is based on the Touareg and features tank-like tracks that work "perfect" on all surfaces.

Power is provided by a 4.2-liter V8 TDI engine that produces 340 HP (250 kW) and 800 Nm (590 lb-ft) of torque. It enables the standard model to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 5.8 seconds and average 9.1 L/100 km (25.8 mpg US) with CO2 emissions of 239 g/km.

Leon Haslam undergoes leg surgery

Last February during the official Infront Superbike pre-season tests at Phillip Island, Leon Haslam highsided at Swan’s Corner breaking a small bone in his left foot and fracturing his right tibia which required surgery to stabilize the fracture by inserting some screws into the tibia, and a little less than a week later he was back on his on BMW in the season opener, finishing 12th and 5th in the round.

The new Pata Honda rider tweeted that he underwent surgery today at London hospital to remove the metalwork from his leg. Haslam should be back on his feet pretty quick and ready to take part in the team’s official 2013 presentation at the Motor Bike Expo in Verona, Italy on January 19th.

To present the 1199 Panigale RS13, Ducati has released this official teaser video with footage taken at the Misano and Mugello circuits with Carlos Checa, former three-time Superbike champion Troy Bayliss and also a couple of shots of Danilo Petrucci (IodaRacing).

The Panigale is an extraordinary beautiful twin cylinder racing machine, but will it be able to go head-to-head with the already highly competitive Kawasaki and Aprilia, when Carlos Checa (he could be sandbagging) has already said that the bike has great potential, but still has limits, and the 17-inch tires are more favourable to the 4 cylinders? Only the timesheets will give us an answer when the new season rolls around next February.
