Juva Baysse. La belle histoire
En mai 2012 je reçois un mail de Cyril, fidèle du blog et fan de mes dessins depuis un long moment déjà. Cyril vient de retrouver en annonce la voiture du grand-père de son pote Pierre et elle est très reconnaissable puisque la Juva est aux couleurs du garage Renault qu'il tenait à l'époque dans le Médoc.
Sous vos yeux, une version presque définitive du dessin commandé par Cyril.
L'épilogue de cette histoire, c'était il y 2 semaines, lorsque Pierre est passé chez ses potes pour son anniv'. Le dessin et la carte grise encadrés avaient déjà fait leur petit effet mais quand Pierre a été poussé dans le garage et que la bâche de la Juva est tombée, je vous laisse imaginer le moment d'émotion...

Valentino Rossi's Yamaha M1 Sepang livery revealed on Twitter
The first official 2013 MotoGP pre-season test will start on Tuesday at Sepang, but Valentino Rossi’s Yamaha M1 livery for upcoming test has already made an appearance on Twitter, just to bring up the hype.
The 2013 M1 is so sophisticated that it used its own Twitter account Yamaha M1@YamahaYellow46 to reveal itself and it is intelligent enough to posts comments in Italian like, “Aspettando il mio amore @ValeYellow46 - waiting for my love ValeYellow46.
While this will not be the definite livery as it is the same used in the Valencia/Aragon test, however now you can see Monster Energy logo, as the energy drink company will be co-sponsoring the Yamaha team along with Yamaha Indonesia’s Semakin di Depan and Eneos, and the front fender is painted with Rossi’s trademark yellow with a VR46 decal near the dashboard.
What you can’t see if the M1 is already equipped with the new seamless shift gearbox that is rumored to make its debut this season on the Yamaha factory bikes.

Enduropale 2013 : Moussé (Yamaha) vainqueur dans la polémique
Jean-Claude Moussé (Yamaha) a remporté la 8e édition de l'Enduropale du Touquet, devant Milko Potisek (Yamaha), qui pensait pourtant avoir gagné la course, disputée dans des conditions très difficiles en raison de la pluie et du vent.
Après un long visionnage des images de l'arrivée et une certaine confusion, Moussé, originaire d'Epernay (Marne) mais installé au Touquet, a finalement été déclaré vainqueur, comme en 1999 (Enduro), 2004 (Enduro) et 2012 (Enduropale). Adrien Van Beveren (Yamaha) est 3e.
Il aura fallu une bonne heure aux commissaires de course pour lever l'improbable doute qui était tombé sur les 35 000 spectateurs présents. L'attente a été longue mais c'est finalementJean-Claude Moussé qui a été désigné vainqueur. L'objet de la polémique ? Un drapeau rouge levé par l'organisation au moment même où Milko Potisek venait de doubler Moussé. Si ce dernier s'est arrêté juste après cet épisode, Potisek, croyant être en tête, a poursuivi sa route, enchaînant un dernier tour à l'issue duquel il levait les bras, croyant s'être imposé.

McLaren celebrates 50th anniversary through short film trilogy praising Bruce McLaren
McLaren 50 - Courage
McLaren has launched the first short film as part of a trilogy celebrating the company's 50th anniversary.
The three-part video series explains the history of the company, focusing on Bruce McLaren who founded the racing team 50 years ago. He passed away at the very young age of 32 when he crashed on the Goodwood circuit in 1970.
The other two videos will be released later this year and will be available on the company's website, as well as McLaren's YouTube and Facebook accounts. Links can be found in the attached press release.
2013 is also an important year for McLaren because they are about to present the P1, a true successor for the legendary F1 launched in the early 90s. It will be unveiled in Geneva next month and go on sale before the end of the year.

Notorious by Goldammer Cycle Works
In custom bike building circles, Roger Goldammer’s name is synonymous with quality workman-ship and artistic genius throughout Canada. Nortorious is one of those highly unusual custom café racers built by Roger Goldammer that only come along once in a blue moon. Nortorious, at first look, brings to mind the classic lines of the very significant Norton Manx Café Racer but that’s where the similarities end.
The 965CC engine features a lower end consisting of Merch cases rotated back 15degrees, producing an amazing 83 horsepower at 6400 rpm. The massive front and rear brake drums are hand-made by the master craftsman and do an impressive job of adding to the look of a vintage British racer. The fuel tanks and fenders are hand pounded and welded which is nothing strange in a custom bike.
The Notorious was actually built in 2007. It won the Canadian Championship of Custom Bike Building in 2007 and a two-time winner of the World Championships.
