Since when have Lancia Delta Integrales been worth £100k?

It’s a cult classic 1980s ‘hot hatch’, helped by a stellar competition history and one of the world's most desirable badges on the bonnet. But since when were Lancia Delta Integrales worth £100,000? We’ve taken a closer look at this mega ‘Martini 6’ edition, which will cross the block next month…

We can be heroes...

Okay, so this particular model – a Delta HF Integrale Evoluzione 1 ‘Martini 6’ – is among the most desirable Integrales out there, but nonetheless. When it goes under the hammer at the RM Sotheby’s Paris Sale on 3 February 2016, it’s estimated to fetch 120,000-150,000 euros. The ‘Martini 6’ was built towards the end of 1992, to celebrate Lancia’s sixth consecutive World Rally Championship victory. Aside from the famous red, white and blue livery, other features unique to this car include the teal-coloured Alcantara interior, and a carbonfibre gearlever surround. Underneath, it’s business as usual.

  

The reason it looks so immaculate is predominantly because it’s covered a mere 28,000 kilometres, in the hands of the same owner from new. This, combined with the car’s rally-winning credentials, makes it a very tempting proposition indeed. Who says you should never meet your heroes?
