Alastair Fisher remporte l’épreuve 3,1 secondes devant Kajetanowicz.
The final stage of leg one on the second round of the FIA European Rally Championship was only 2.3 kilometres but it was full of drama for the leading contenders.
Circuit of Ireland leader Craig Breen spun on the Newtownards TT street stage, losing 11 seconds to his nearest rival Kajetan Kajetanowicz, just one stage after he had extending his margin by 10s. The difference between the pair now sits at 25.1s overnight.
Fredrik Åhlin got into even more difficulty, damaging the right-rear corner on his Ford Fiesta R5 after hitting a kerb, forcing him to crab his way around the rest of the course and then stop after the stage to affect a makeshift repair (pictured) so he could make it back to parc ferme at Kings Hall.
Åhlin had been fourth after a fine first day on asphalt since 2012 but has now slipped to sixth behind Martin McCormack and Jaromír Tarabus after dropping half a minute in the stage itself.
Alastair Fisher won the stage, 3.1s ahead of Kajetanowicz, cutting his overall gap to the second-placed Polish driver to just 2.5s. Clickhere for live results and text commentary.
