Leg 2 - 2012 WRC Rally de Espana
Going into the overnight halt the overall classification is: 1) Sebastien Loeb (Citroen-Michelin) - 2) Jari-Matti Latvala (Ford-Michelin) +27.0 - 3) Mikko Hirvonen (Citroen-Michelin) +1:14.1 - 4) Ott Tanak (Ford-Michelin) +1:28.8 - 5) Mads Ostberg (Ford-Michelin) +1:31.4
Jari-Matti Latvala (Ford-Michelin) has openly admitted that he cannot do anything to catch the Frenchman at the front, all he can do is learn and work harder - his own words. Dani Sordo (Mini-Michelin) had problems in the morning with an engine running on only 3 cylinders, but managed to get it fixed in the mid-day service coming out to set fastest times on 2 out of the 3 stage in the afternoon. The other fastest stage time going to a young Estonian driver Ott Tanak (Ford-Michelin).
