    Renown Auto Style is back once again with a wide body kit for the Mercedes-Benz SL (R230).
    After mounting this aftermarket body kit, the SL is just about as wide as a Lamborghini Murcielago. It can be fitted with Renown three-piece concave wheels up to 21 inches, while the one in these photos has R10S-C 20x10.5 front and 21x13.5 rear wheels.

    All components are manufactured in the United States except for the Mercedes-Benz original LED daytime running lights. The SL's body panels are constructed from woven cloth FRP with an epoxy resin and have been vacuum-bagged for better strength/weight ratio.

    Looking pretty much like an SL65 AMG Black Series, this custom car has also received an ECU tuning and a few upgraded internals courtesy of Raging Bull Performance who managed to bump the engine's output to around 700 HP (515 kW).

    Matchless is the oldest marque of British motorcycles (founded in 1899) and this upcoming June will be launching its clothing collection and has enlisted top model Kate Moss to star in their advertising campaign, which sees Moss drapped on Marlon Brando’s motorcycle from the 1953 movie, The Wild One.
    Former Belstaff owners Michele and Manuele Malenotti bought the company last year and they are the sons of Franco Malenotti, who used to be a “gentleman rider” and had his own motorcycle dealership which was one the biggest European distributors of Honda motorcycles and also had his own race team Samoto. Malenotti Sr also used to own an important collection of over one hundred historic motorcycles that he later sold to Ivano Beggio, and that are on dispay at the Aprilia Museum in Noale.
    “We are delighted to be working with Kate Moss on this first Matchless advertising campaign for this new era of the brand,” said Michele Malenotti - who is also Matchless’ marketing and business expansion director. “We feel her spirit and personality fit the brand perfectly and this is clearly conveyed in the campaign.”
    The new collection will feature leather and washed cotton jackets with prices that range from £900 to £1,300 (1.060 to 1.530 euro) for a leather jacket, and £600 to £900 (700 euro and 1.060 euro) for a washed cotton version.

    Laurence Gartel will be bringing his "Psychedelic Drive" to the New York Auto Show scheduled for the end of the month.

    Digital media artist Laurence Gartel has used a mint condition Mercedes-Benz 380 SL from 1982 to create the "Psychedelic Drive" which will be showcased between March 27 and 31 at the Jacob Javits Convention Center.

    This 70s-inspired groovy finish of the classic SL is just one of the cars restyled by Laurence Gartel who also applied a similar theme to a Ferrari F430 Scuderia and a Cadillac Fleetwood Limousine. More photos of his work can be found on his Facebook account below.
