Romain Dumas Pikes Peak 2012 : Challenging The Clouds
in his first participation in the famous Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, Romain Dumas finished second overall with a time of 9min46sec181 ! The French driver came close to overall spoils, even as he battled rain and hail in the final portion of the course, to finish only seventeenth thousandths of a second behind the winner. Behind the wheel of his Porsche 911 GT3 R, Romain Dumas takes the Pikes Peak Open class win. A fine reward for his first « Race to the Clouds ».

But as they say, the bigger the risk, the bigger the reward, which is probably why the likes of Jerry Hsu, Keegan Sauder, Joey Pepper, Javier Mendizibal and Michael "Michi" Mackrodt were game to accompany them on this journey down nearly the entire length of Vietnam despite some of their limited past experience with riding motorbikes."
