Brayton 6 Concept Bike by Colby Higgins

Brayton 6 Futuristic Bike Concept
Colby Higgins has designed a concept bike that seeks to revolutionize the way motorcycles are built. The power-to-weight ratio was a critical influence on the design. With the purpose of creating an extremely light motorcycle, the bike was built around a combustion “bladder”. Unlike conventionally built bikes, the Brayton 6 was visualized from the inside out that make it a true high performance bike.
Higgins’s design is also an attempt to bring man and machine together with the use of bladders. Each bladder acts like a 2-stroke engine to create linear motion, while a microcontroller controls the timing and fuel regulation. The frame structure of the bike permits the rider to shift his riding position and ride height at the push of a button.  The overall form was an effort to inspire the animalistic feeling of a naked bike.
