Tiny Terrors: RM to sell The Bruce Weiner Microcar Museum

Over two days (15-16 February) early next year, RM Auctions will conduct what is certain to be a fun event when it offers approximately 200 microcars - and assorted automobilia - from The Bruce Weiner Microcar Museum, all at ‘No Reserve’.

Bruce Weiner amassed what is probably the world’s finest collection of miniature vehicles over many years of assiduous collecting. His museum in Madison, Georgia, USA, will be the venue for the sale.

The collection includes the world’s smallest car (a 1964 Peel P-50) several bubble cars by Messerschmitt, Isetta and Goggomobil, and two Voisin Biscooters, extraordinary microcars built by French aviation and automotive engineer Gabriel Voisin.

Joining the original German Polizei and Jagdwagen (hunting car) versions of the BMW Isetta is the amazing ‘Whattadrag’, a dragster utilising the chassis of a 1959 donor car and inspired by the Hot Wheels toy car.

It is powered by a 730bhp, 302ci Chevy V8 and can be seen in action in the entertaining video above.
