New KEDO project: Le Beau - the Beautiful
The new "Le Beau" introduces the concept of time-honored SR500 completely upside down. The name comes from the French word meaning "the beautiful". "Le Beau" is a modern dandy. The appearance is stylish and confident, almost elegant and is accompanied by a buoyant lightness.
The bike defies the constraints of specific common expectations of lines and symmetry. The tank has been greatly reduced, and in the frame triangle placed, the intake section extending in the interior and forms an asymmetric unit. Otherwise adapts the structure to the respective requirements, such as the mounting of the rear fender and the numerous other successful detailed solutions.
Responsible for the design draws Raik Bruhn. As a budding engineer in vehicle technology, he is about to graduate. As part of a course-related project work himself together with KEDO this conversion. Shaped by his years of part-time jobs in bicycle repair shops carrying the "Le Beau" design filigree trains.
