In Top Gear style
Peugeot Italia has pitted the 2013 RCZagainst a mountain bike in a video which looks like it was taken straight from a Top Gear episode.
Behind the wheel of the facelifted RCZ is Paolo Andreucci while riding the downhill bike is Lorenzo Suding. As you would imagine, in the end the Peugeot RCZ takes the win but just like on the British car show, it was a pretty close race.
The revised Peugeot RCZ is sold with a 1.6-liter THP 156 engine rated at 156 HP (115 kW) and 240 Nm (176 lb-ft) of torque, along with a larger 2.0-liter HDi 163 FAP producing 163 HP (120 kW) and 340 Nm (250 lb-ft). It can also be configured with a more powerful 1.6-liter THP 200 generating 200 HP (147 kW) and 275 Nm (202 lb-ft). Depending on engine selection, Peugeot offers a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission.
The range-topping Peugeot RCZ R will arrive towards the end of the year packing a 1.6-liter THP with 260 HP (191 kW), making it Peugeot's most powerful production model ever. It will also have a custom-tuned suspension, Torsen limited slip differential and bespoke exterior/interior styling.
