Bol d’Or, H+9 : Kawasaki SRC leader

With nine hours completed, Kawasaki SRC enjoys a one-lap cushion over GMT 94 (Michelin). YART (Michelin) is still third, ahead of Honda TT Legends.

Après neuf heures de course, Kawasaki SRC compte un tour d’avance sur le GMT 94 (Michelin). Le YART (Michelin) se maintient à la troisième place devant le Honda TT Legends.

Following the early evening’s drama, the 2013 Bol d’Or seems to have settled into something of a rhythm, with Kawasaki SRC edging increasingly clear at the sharp end, and GMT 94 keeping the leader under constant pressure.

Although it is five laps behind the front-running Kawasaki, third-placed YART has succeeded in pulling two laps clear of Honda TT Legends.

National Motos lost the benefit of third place when one of its riders made a mistake at the beginning of the race’s eighth hour, causing the N°55 Honda to fall back to 10^th overall with a deficit of 13 laps to recover.

There have been no changes in the Superstock order. It continues to be led by AM Moto Racing (5^th overall) which is locked in an exciting duel with Suzuki Junior Team. Penz 13 is third in the class, and all three bikes figure in the overall top 10.

Following its falls during the early part of the event, SERT has fought back to 18^th, albeit 14 laps behind Kawasaki SRC.

At the stroke of midnight, the leading bike had completed 300 laps, but there are still 15 hours of competition to come and, as they say, anything can happen!

Après les rebondissements du début de soirée, la 77^ème édition du Bol d’Or semble avoir trouvé son rythme de croisière. Kawasaki SRC est parvenu à creuser un écart d’un tour sur le GMT 94 qui maintient la pression.

Le YART, troisième, accuse un retard de cinq tours sur le leader mais a réussi à reléguer les Anglais du Honda TT Legends à deux tours.

Occupant la troisième place, National Motos est parti à la faute au début de la huitième heure. La Honda n°55 a dégringolé à la 10^ème position avec un handicap de 13 tours.

Pas de changement au niveau de la catégorie Superstock. AM Moto Racing, cinquième au général, au coude à coude avec le Suzuki Junior Team, conserve la tête. Penz 13 est troisième à trois tours. A noter que ces trois machines figurent dans le Top 10 du classement général.

Après sa double chute dans les premières heures de course, le SERT est remonté à la 18^èmeplace mais l’écart qui le sépare de Kawasaki SRC reste inchangé à 14 tours.

A minuit, la Kawasaki SRC a bouclé 300 tours. Il reste encore 15 heures de course et tout peut arriver.
