XCAR takes Morgan 3 Wheeler for a spin

XCAR had the opportunity to drive aMorgan 3 Wheeler near the company's factory in Malvern.

The Morgan 3 Wheeler is no ordinary car and serves an extremely limited niche, but nevertheless it still is an eye-grabber. It features a tubular chassis with an aluminum body, matte black dual exhaust and glossy black wheels. At an additional cost it can be ordered with stainless steel tailpipes and a polished engine.

Powering the three-wheeler is an S&S V Twin engine rated at 115 bhp (86 kW), working together with a five-speed manual gearbox borrowed from Mazda. The trike weighs only 1,100 lbs (500 kg) and hits 60 mph (96 km/h) in 4.5 seconds, on its way to a top speed of 115 mph (185 km/h).
