Lamborghini Murcielago LP670-4 SV crashes at the Gumball 3000
No injuries reported
A Lamborghini Murcielago LP670-4 SV has crashed during the Gumball 3000.
Details are limited, but the driver apparently lost control and ended up crashing into a fence and a tree. Thankfully, no one was injured.
As a refresher, the Murcielago LP670-4 SV features a 6.5-liter V12 engine that develops 670 HP (493 KW) and 660 Nm (487 lb-ft) of torque. It enables the model - which weighs 100 kg (220 lbs) less than the standard Murcielago - to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3.2 seconds and hit a top speed of 342 km/h (212 mph).
Only 350 Murcielago LP670-4 SuperVeloces were built and hopefully this one will be back on the road before too long.
