The Queen's bespoke Bentley State Limousine will be exhibited this month during the Coronation Festival.
To mark five decades since her accession to the throne, Her Majesty the Queen received in 2002 this special Bentley. "Project Diamond" took two years to complete and includes a "panoramic glasshouse" while the rear seat position was established using a model of the same height as The Queen. In addition, the doors are hinged at the rear and they open through 90 degrees for an easier entry/exit access.
Bentley's flagship model - the Mulsanne - will also be on display in the Buckingham Palace Gardens. The British marque says each car takes almost 400 hours to create, with half of the time put into finishing the interior cabin.
