Ahead of the Geneva Motor Show next month, Bentley's Continental line has been revised, with slight visual tweaks, a more powerful W12 engine and a higher number of trim customisation options...
More than a facelift
Thanks primarily to a revised front end and elegant touches such as chrome ‘B’s in the side air-intakes, the new generation Bentley Continental looks both more aggressive and more characterful than the existing model. For the GT and GT Cabriolet, the flagship W12 engine has been increased from 575HP/700Nm to 590HP/720Nm, while fuel consumption has dropped by an impressive five per cent. There are three new colours across the whole Bentley range, too: ‘Marlin’, a rich metallic blue, ‘Camel’, a soft golden hue, and ‘Jetstream’, a lighter metallic blue. New alloys complete the cosmetic changes. Inside, there’s a more modern interior, with several new trim levels and on-board WiFi. The new generation Continental GT will come to the market in Summer 2015.
