The 1961 ex-Paris Motor Show Ferrari 250 GT ‘SWB’ has been announced by Artcurial as an early highlight for its Le Mans Classic Sale on 9 July…
In the same ownership for the last 47 years, chassis number #2917GT starred at the 1961 Paris Motor Show, then in its original shade of light blue. Reportedly well used and maintained, it’s got the all-important matching numbers, and has spent its whole life in France. It’s fitting, then, that it will be sold by a French auction house, at arguably the country’s most prestigious motorsport location – Le Mans.

This is the second ‘SWB’ consigned by Artcurial this year, after an 8.1m-euro deal was agreed shortly after its Rétromobile sale in February for the very last example built.
