Roothy's Milo has been part of the family for well over 20 years. She's done more than a million kilometres and there comes a time in any machine's life when it's just too late to do any more! So what better place to take Milo for her last Creek to Coast adventure than Straddie
There's something magic about winter camping, especially on Straddie. The crystal blue waters of Amity Point are a charm for keen fisherman, and the jetty is the best place to wet a line when the fish want to play the game!
Roothy first bought Milo from a scoutmaster in 1990 to use as a 4WD. Since then, he's lived in the back for about four months each year. There's not much on her that hasn't been modified, but now it's Milo's last Creek to Coastadventure before heading off to the National Motor Museum.
Roothy and Jase are on one last tour of the island, getting the chassis sandy, and seeing if there’s a bit of fun terrain to be found! Milo's also getting her last salt bath before finishing up on Creek to Coast and well, what can we say, it's been one heck of an adventure
