Production will be limited to 11 units
MINI is celebrating their Dakar Rally win by introducing a John Cooper Works Countryman ALL4 Dakar Winner 2013 special edition.
Besides having one of the longest names in history, the special edition has a matte black exterior with green sport stripes and "MINI ALL4 Racing" lettering. There's also Dakar logos and 19-inch alloy wheels.
The styling theme carries over to the cabin as it is equipped with green contrast stitching and green embroidered headrests. The model also has an individually-numbered plaque and green / black trim.
Like the standard model, the special edition is powered by a turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine that develops 218 HP (160 kW) and 280 Nm (207 lb-ft) of torque. It is backed up by an ALL4 all-wheel drive system which enables the model to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 7.0 seconds.
The special edition will be available exclusively in France and production will be limited to eleven units as a tribute to Stéphane Peterhansel's eleven Dakar Rally wins.
