Giovanni Ravelli (one of the three founders of Moto Guzzi) was killed in plane crash just days after the war. His partners Giorgio Parodi and Carlo decided to dedicate Guzzi in the memory of Ravelli. Giovanni interested in aviation and aircraft, so it was decided to use a winged eagle of Italian Air Force decorations. Recasting Moto Guzzi 1100 Sport 1997, American customizer delved into the topic impact of aviation on the Moto Guzzi.
