Corvette AeroWagon
With shooting brakes getting more popular, it's no wonder Callaway has already thought of this body style for the2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray.
Known as the AeroWagon, this special C7 is already available on order and if Callaway receives enough demands they will actually build it for an additional 15,000 USD. The car's rear hatch will benefit from carbon fiber structural components made using Callaway's in-house Resin Transfer Molding process.
It will be able to reach speeds of more than 200 mph (322 km/h) but they don't mention anything about the engine powering this custom Corvette. Chances are it won't be the stock 450 hp (335 kW) V8 6.2-liter engine since this probably isn't enough for a top speed in excess of 200 mph.
If there are enough orders, Callaway will start delivering the Stingray AeroWagon in Q4 2013.
