Bosozoku Girls of Japan
America has always been about individuality while, historically, Japan represents the opposite. But lately more and more Japanese women are finding a different path to fulfillment, ditching fairytale housewife cliches for the thrill of the open road. Meet the bosozuko girls of Japan: badass biker girls who play by their own rules wearing kamikaze attack uniform with embroidered gang names. They were given the name, which means "violent run tribe", by the cops who attempted to shut them down in a constant game of cat and mouse. In the 90's these groups changed the name to Kyushakai to avoid trouble by the police. Now, new Japanese law has made it much more difficult for gang organizations to operate. Even wearing the uniform will get you arrested.
