While the big news coming out of Nissan this week might be its GT-R at Le Mans announcement, the Japanese automaker isn’t forgetting its roots. The Zama Heritage Car Garage in Japan is home to some of Nissan’s most historically significant vehicles from the last 80-plus years, and included in the collection is a large number of motorsport icons. As the clip above goes to show; these relics don’t spend all of their time locked up indoors either – which is very cool.
What’s even cooler is the quiz Nissan has put together, which challenges you to match tuned engine notes to the correct restored classic Nissan/Datsun race car. There are five drives-bys to listen to, and the machines range from a 1964 Skyline Prince GT through to a 1983 Nissan 240RS Group B rally car.
If you think you know your L-series from your A-series and your FJs; give it a watch then let us know how many you managed to get right in the comments section below. Furthermore, if you could pick one to put in your garage, which would it be?
