100-200 km/h in 5 seconds
Boba Motoring has turned a first-gen Volkswagen Golf into one of the most powerful front-wheel drive cars in the world.
Looks can be deceiving especially when talking about this old Golf which packs a 2.0-liter 16V turbocharged engine generating 736 HP (541 kW) on E85 fuel thanks to a Garrett GTX3582R turbocharger. It also has a roll cage, KMS MD35 ECU and a 6-speed manual gearbox sending the entire horsepower to the front wheels shod in Toyo R888 tires.
Boba Motoring does not disclose the car's 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint time but they say it takes five seconds from 62 mph (100 km/h) to 124 mph (200 km/h).
