Casey Stoner to drive in the Dunlop series in 2013?

    from Twowheelsblog

The Valencia GP will be the last motorcycle race before Casey Stoner hangs up his racing lid. The two-time World Champion may have said that he’s lost the passion for MotoGP racing and that is one of the reasons for his early retirement, but in our opinion the Australian actually proved himself wrong when he made an early comeback from a serious injury just to prepare for his final home race up and take his sixth consecutive win at Phillip Island and enjoy himself.
While many are still wondering how champion of his caliber can give up the adrenaline fix just to fish, hunt and rund a ranche while raising a family of little Stoner’s, the MotoGP rider may actually not just decide to relax and recharge his batteries during his first year of retirement, because according Daily Telegraph.com Stoner is already in negotiations with Triple Eight Racing to debut next February in the Dunlop Series.
While negotiations have been denied by Stoner and Triple Eight Racing, V8 officials have confirmed that negotiations are underway. The Australian has already tested a V8 Supercar at the end of 2011 and impressed the team with his lap times and giving him a chance to drive in the support class would allow him to gain experience in order to prepare for a full-time career on four wheels.
