Debuts on March 27th
Toyota has announced plans to introduce the 2014 Highlander at the New York Auto Show.
The company refrained from providing any details, but confirmed the "all-new" model will celebrate its world debut on March 27th.
Little is known about the redesigned crossover, but it is expected to have an evolutionary design which could borrow some styling cues from the RAV4.
Engine options remain unconfirmed, but choices could include a 2.5-liter four-cylinder with 178 bhp (133 kW) and 170 lb-ft (230 Nm) of torque as well as a 3.5-liter V6 that develops 268 bhp (200 kW) and 248 lb-ft (336 Nm) of torque. We can also expect a hybrid variant which could use a 156 hp (116 kW / 158 PS) 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine and a 141 hp (105 kW / 143 PS) electric motor.
