De nombreux pilotes du Championnat du Monde MotoGP™ participeront à la compétition annuelle de dirt track à Barcelone.
Les trois Champions du Monde de cette année, Marc Márquez (MotoGP™), son frère cadet Álex (Moto3™) et Esteve Rabat (Moto2™) seront présents au Palau Sant Jordi de Barcelone ce week-end, dans le coeur de Barcelone, pour la seconde édition du Superprestigio.
D’autres représentants du paddock des Grands Prix tels que Bradley Smith, Toni Elías, Julián Simón, Johann Zarco ou encore Jonas Folger figurent aussi sur la liste des engagés, aux côtés de Troy Bayliss, Guy Martin ou encore Brad Baker, spécialiste de la discipline et vainqueur de l'an dernier.
Les épreuves seront disputées sur une piste de dirt track de 200m et sur des 450cc 4-temps. Suite aux essais de vendredi, les courses auront lieu le samedi et la finale regroupera les meilleurs pilotes des catégories Superprestigio et Open.
Preparations are being finalised for the Superprestigio DTX Barcelona 2014 event with several MotoGP™ World Championship stars ready to take part.
The likes of World Champions Marc and Alex Marquez and their training partner Tito Rabat, the reigning Moto2™ title holder, will all take part in the showdown on Saturday evening at the Palau Sant Jordi, in the heart of Barcelona.
Now in its second edition, the Superprestigio will also see Toni Elias, Julian Simon and Troy Bayliss pushing hard as part of a 24 rider line-up. The winner of the first edition Brad Baker and the iconic British rider Guy Martin will also be in attendance.
The racing will take place on a 200m dirt track with participants riding 4-stroke 450cc machine. Following practice on Friday the action gets serious and builds to a climax late on Saturday – with many riders having trained together in Spain this week.
